Mine-O-Tonic Ranch

About Us

Here at Mine-O-Tonic Ranch, we raise and sell MGR registered Myotonics for show, pets, and occasionally market.

I also raise ADGA registered Alpine dairy goats under the herdname Siskiyou's Alpines. Our herd has tested negative for CL, CAE, and Johne's year after year.

We are currently located in Montague, CA

A Little Bit More About Me...

From the very beginning we've raised Myotonics. My parents bought our first myos when I was a baby, and since then I have never been without them. We had Mini Silkies for a while at one point, but the last ones we had were sold a long time ago. In November of 2022, I added a new breed to my ever-growing hoard of goats; American Alpines. I was originally only supposed to get one for milk, but that quickly turned into two bred show does, and then a buckling was added too. Not long after we brought them home I was gifted yet another Alpine doe. Apparently, it was meant to be.

I work hard to make sure my goats are happy and healthy. All of my keepers, including the bucks, are leash trained and come when called. Mine are a little spoiled, and know that the leash means walks or treats, and since they like both, all I have to do is hold up the leash and they will come running. I can be a bit of a goat hoarder (hence the name, MINE-O-Tonic Ranch), but I am trying to keep my herd at a manageable size. So far it has not worked out so well.
